Keven et al.:
%%
%% You want 1-2-0-fixes. This is the branch which will soon be released
%% as 1.2.4.
%%
Yup, that did the trick. Configured, made, installed without flaw, and seems
to work fine now on my machine. I added /usr/local/oz/bin to my PATH in
.bash_profile and all is well.
Now how do I go about bundling this build in an RPM for others to use? (If
you guys don't already have a bundle for Red Hat 7.3 yet.) I'm more of a
Windows geek, just starting to grok this Linux thang. So far, liking it a
lot. :)
%% In your other message you say that you run autoconf. There is already
%% a configure file in the download. Maybe your autoconf is screwy (I'm
%% clutching at straws here). Anyway use the configure in the download
%% so we know you are running the same thing as us.
%%
Yes, running autoconf was a bad idea, but I got the same result when I
cleaned up that directory and checked out mozart (before checking out
mozart-1-2-0-fixes).
:)
Sincerely,
Bob Calco
