I don't especially like Eclipse. I've use it in its WebSphere Application
Developer (i.e., costly, buggly, slow IBM tool) incarnation. I'm not a big
Java buff either. Although I've thought about it, because the plug-in
architecture is so easy to use.

As it is I've been working on Amadeus using wxWindows. This way it will run
*natively* on Windows and Unix. Yeah I have to reinvent some of the wheel,
but hey, it's *my* free time! ;)

The Digital Mars compiler looks promising. I've seen it before, but never
really "grokked" it. The "D" language looked more enticing. But I never had
time to follow up with it.

Thanks for the ideas.
