I already takled the problem in WIN building an Activex component around
the "external-processes" package which communicates some hi-level commands
and signals events like errors, solutions, or messages to the calling
application.
It works fine and it can be easily embedded in every Activex-aware
environment.
If you want more informations I'll be happy to help you.
